Rome's Hulk muscles.
This kiddo is funny. No really. Just the way he deals with life and the things he does everyday are a hoot. We laugh at just about everything out of his mouth.
A while back he nicknamed himself The Hulk. It all started with getting an Incredible Hulk toy in his kid's meal at Burger King. Todd got curious about where the hulk was from, and apparently it's from the show Super Hero Squad. Todd found a bunch of episodes online (since we don't have tv) and Rome fell in love. For months he introduced himself as "Hulk" to people, Todd's new nickname became Abomination, (Hulk's arch enemy) He threatened hulk smashes for just about everything, and his new favorite color became green.
Then came the infamous abomination story:
Hulk rarely referred to Todd as Dad anymore. One Sunday, while Todd was in primary, Roman's nursery leader brought Rome to Todd so he could go to the bathroom. As soon as Rome saw Todd he said "Hey Abomination!" and Todd said "What's up Hulk?!" Just then the nursery leader started laughing and said "That's what he's been talking about. All day he was talking about his Dad and abomination and I kept telling him that his Dad isn't an abomination, that he is a nice guy!! I was wondering how he even knew what that word was!"
Yeah we got a kick out of that. The hulk thing is finally wearing off now, but we still get an occasional hulk smash and him telling people he's Hulk. He just brings such a fun, lighthearted spirit to our home. I love him immensely.

I remember you guys coming home and telling that story. He's so stinkin funny. Seriously. Not an average little kid bein funny. He's hilarious. I LOVE that kid!

I must have missed this post. Rome is so funny and so grown up too. Gary and Gavin watch that same show every night together before Gavin goes to bed. His favorites are Thor and Captain America.
