One More Day...

So Todd this last week, has been doing "The Master Cleanse" aka "the Lemonade Diet." I am completely amazed he's able to it. He can't eat; only drink water and this lemonade mixture. Which consists of water, lemon juice, cayenne pepper and organic maple syrup. It'd be so hard!! I'm not sure if I could make it. I want to try next time he does it though. He set a goal to do it for 7 days and today is day 6. It's a juice fast created by a doctor that has so many benefits including; major energy boost, cleanse your body of years of built up waste, strengthen immune system, improve mental clarity and focus, more strength and stamina, relieves aches and pains, even will help you lose weight fast. He hopes it'll help reset everything. I'm so dang proud of him for setting a goal and striving to achieve it. Only one more day. It takes so much will power to do something like that. He's so strong though. He can do anything he sets his mind to. He's so funny! He says "It looks like urine and tastes like crap!" I tasted it though and didn't think it was bad at all. But I only sipped it and I haven't only had that for the last week!!! He's already noticed lots of things it's helped with. Good thing he's not doing it for nothing!

Roman's new friend...

Rome loves our dog Takoda! He thinks she's the funniest thing ever. Which cracks me up cause I treated Koda like my baby before Rome was born. Even when I was in labor, I was all worried about her and the minute Roman was born I wanted to get rid of her!! Motherly instinct I guess. I wanted to protect him from everything. Including my hyper active puppy. She definitely picked up on that protectiveness when we got home and wouldn't even come near Rome for a month! For the most part she still doesn't pay much attention to him. (Although she tries to sneak in kisses when she thinks I'm not looking.) But Rome sure doesn't want to leave her alone! The other day, he kept leaning way over trying to get down off my lap. I looked over and koda is sitting there. So I laid him down next to her and he started laughing like crazy!! I've never heard him laugh like that without someone trying to make him. Koda probably didn't think it was as funny when he got a handful of ear! It was so cute to see him with her but if Todd asks, Yes I still hate her! ha ha. (hey, I can't let him think I'm kinda starting to like her again!!)

Who does Rome look more like?...

We did this poll when Rome was just a month or two old and he looked more like me but having done it again recently it says he looks more like Todd. (Which I totally agree with.) It seems since Todd shaved his head Rome looks more and more like him. Must be the bald thing!!

Take me out to the ball game...

We went to our first Orem Owlz game today!! It was so fun. Aunt Chelsea took this picture when we first got there and next thing I know, everyone is telling me and Todd to look at the scoreboard to see this pic up on it. It was so cute and a big surprise to see it up there! I loved it. I'm sure we'll have a fun summer of ball games. My parents host players at their house, and this year they seem to be some outgoing guys. I might actually be able to go watch them play this season now that I'm not working my life away at the salon! So far it seems Rome likes baseball not fighting! (ha ha!! Wouldn't you agree honey?!) Thanks grandma and gpops for the jersey. He looks adorable in it!!

Happy Father's Day!!!

These are the 2 Fathers in my life that mean so much to me! My dad Bart and my husband Todd. Both have brought much joy in my life and I'm grateful that they are such incredible dads! They're hard workers who support and show love for their families. I couldn't ask for any better! I love you Dad. I love you Todd. Happy Father's Day to all you dads out there!!!

Blessing Day!!

Yay! Finally we blessed Roman on Sunday. It was so neat. He received such a wonderful blessing. It made me truly realize what an incredible spirit Heavenly Father sent to me. He has so much potential and his whole life ahead of him!! I love him so much. I'm grateful for a wonderful husband who was able to preform the blessing. You're awesome babe! I'm so glad to finally have it done I was getting anxious to do it. (I'm not the only one huh Crys?!) It was perfect though.

This sweet child even slept through it. Which is amazing because he never sleeps or naps and wakes at even slight movement!!

Katie and Rome looked so cute! They all did. There were 4 little ones blessed. Roman, Katie (Ty and crystal's), Dallas (Tracy and Rich's), and Raziley (My cousin Michelle's)

It was so neat to have Grandpa, my aunts, Michelle and zz come from Washington. It meant a lot. It's been so fun having everyone here. It was good to have lots of family and friends there too. Having everyone blessed at the same time kind of tied us all in as family. Thanks to all who shared this day with us!!

Swimming Fun!!!

We took Roman to the Scera Pool last Saturday. It was so much fun. He was a little uneasy at first with all the noise and people splashing, but once he got used to it, he had a really good time. I'm excited he liked it too!! I've always wanted a water baby because I love the water so much. It was such a nice day too. On our way my car temp read 81 degrees!! He absolutely loves his bath so it's not such a surprise he had a good time.
