Happy Birthday!!

Today is Todd's Birthday and I love this day so much! (Maybe more than he does) I get so excited for it. Anyway, Hope you have a good day!!! I love you Babe. You're an amazing husband and dad! Thanks for being so wonderful. You're incredible.

Devil Dog 2? Only time will tell...

For any of you that have seen our Devil Dog blog, you know Takoda has been acting up lately. Todd thinks she needs a friend. So, all he wanted for his birthday was another dog and he finally broke me down. He's had his eye on a few different dogs but when we went to see this one, he fell in love instantly. He's a 3 year old Boxer. He's an AKC registered male with papers and we are planning on breeding him for some extra cash. (Not with Koda! Those would be UGLY puppies!! Good thing she's fixed!)

Most importantly, we've been cautiously observing if he'll be right for our family (you never really know until you get them home) and so far he's been a good dog. He's appeared to be pretty gentle and sweet. (Which was a must!) The family that had him before was moving into an apartment and needed to find him a new home. She ran a home daycare and has 2 little kids of her own and we saw he was really good with them. (also a must!) Hopefully, he'll be right for us, and Koda will have a friend to play with that'll entertain her instead of looking to me for constant attention! His name is Hades but we're toying with the idea of changing it because neither one of us really likes it. I want Saker because the address we picked him up from was Saker Drive and Todd wants Chuck Liddell (is anyone really surprised?) so we'll see what it ends up being. Maybe it'll stay Hades. I'm just praying we won't end up making a Devil Dog 2 blogspot! And with a name like Hades, wouldn't that be ironic?

New Fishing Partner...

We went fishing last weekend up Provo Canyon just before the sun started setting. We had so much fun. Todd had a blast strapping Roman to him. It was so cute. Rome was so fascinated by everything going on. He just sat there watching him cast out his line. He loved the running water. Too bad it got dark so quickly. But I guess it was good while it lasted. Todd and I have had a lot of fun fishing since we've been together, it'll be awesome if Roman grows up loving it too!

Much Needed Home Improvements...

We ( and when I say "we" I mean Todd) recently took on the project of tiling our bathrooms. It's been something that's needed done since we moved in. Our downstairs bathroom had CARPET!! Need I say more? It looks so much better! Upstairs had linoleum that was in really good shape, but I figured since we were at it anyway... They both turned out so good. Todd did an awesome job. My mom helped him with the downstairs (Thank you again mom) but he took on the upstairs by himself and it's beautiful!

Happy (6 month) Birthday Baby Rome...

My little boy is 6 months old Today!!! I can hardly believe it. It really goes so dang fast. It sometimes makes me sad to think that it is, but at the same time, it's fun to see him hit so many different milestones and I love to watch him grow. I don't want to miss any of it and I know I'm lucky to be able to stay home with him. I wouldn't trade it for the world. Really I have such a stinkin' sweet child!It's crazy to think just 6 months ago he was our little newborn we had been awaiting for so long.I can't wait so see the adventures we'll have with this little one. We're defintely up for the challenge though!!!

4th of July

We decided to do a BBQ with my family and crystal's family. We loaded up our BBQ grill into Ty's truck & headed to the neighborhood park. It was a lot of fun. We just hung out and played a horseshoes tournament. Sweet Drew always lovin' on Rome!!

It's always good to remember the beauty of the land we live in by doing the things we enjoy most. And I must say... It was especially nice having Todd off work for an extra day!

My little musician!!

We were hanging out on the porch the other night and I was holding Rome. Only he wanted Todd because he was really interested in his guitar. So I put him over there and he just kept looking up trying to grab it. I guess he wanted a turn. Soon I'll have two musicians. It was so cute I had to have a picture!!!
