Devil Dog 2? Only time will tell...

For any of you that have seen our Devil Dog blog, you know Takoda has been acting up lately. Todd thinks she needs a friend. So, all he wanted for his birthday was another dog and he finally broke me down. He's had his eye on a few different dogs but when we went to see this one, he fell in love instantly. He's a 3 year old Boxer. He's an AKC registered male with papers and we are planning on breeding him for some extra cash. (Not with Koda! Those would be UGLY puppies!! Good thing she's fixed!)

Most importantly, we've been cautiously observing if he'll be right for our family (you never really know until you get them home) and so far he's been a good dog. He's appeared to be pretty gentle and sweet. (Which was a must!) The family that had him before was moving into an apartment and needed to find him a new home. She ran a home daycare and has 2 little kids of her own and we saw he was really good with them. (also a must!) Hopefully, he'll be right for us, and Koda will have a friend to play with that'll entertain her instead of looking to me for constant attention! His name is Hades but we're toying with the idea of changing it because neither one of us really likes it. I want Saker because the address we picked him up from was Saker Drive and Todd wants Chuck Liddell (is anyone really surprised?) so we'll see what it ends up being. Maybe it'll stay Hades. I'm just praying we won't end up making a Devil Dog 2 blogspot! And with a name like Hades, wouldn't that be ironic?
