Arizona...

We got a chance to head to Arizona for a few days. Chels got engaged a few weeks ago and will be moving there once the nuptials go down, so we went to see where she'll be living. The drive was awful being 7 months pregnant but Rome did so good! It was fun.

Things we did:

~Spent time at the play ground and freezing cold pool!
Ro met the cutest little friend named Rya at the playground. I wish I got pictures. And no joke, the water was like -50 degrees but we were determined to spend time at the pool while we were there. Rome would get in for 30 seconds, then get out to warm up, then would want right back in again. At least it was warm outside!

~Went to a spring training baseball game. Angels vs. Brewers. Todd loved it. I can tell deep down, he's a secret baseball fan.

~Went to the Mesa Temple. I didn't get a change to do a session like I was planning, but we at least got to see it and walk the temple grounds. By the way, my husband is going to Hell for eating the sacred fruit. It was funny cuz he almost died doing it. I told him not to, then he choked on it. I couldn't stop laughing. I'm a great wife huh? Oh yeah Cody's going to Hell too.

~We also went to a Renaissance Festival. They has some fun things like jousting tournaments and elephant rides. However I don't think I've ever seen so much cleavage in my life.

~Scorpion hunting.

It was Todd's favorite part of the whole trip! (I mean besides the baseball game) We bought some black lights while we were there because scorpions glow green making them easy to find at night. I'm not a huge fan. But it did make for lots of fun for everyone else.

George was awesome for putting my whole family up at his house. I'm sure it was quite overwhelming but he was a great sport! We're excited for him to join the family!! (And we had to break him in somehow.) Rome had so much fun, when Todd and I told him we were going home he said "No. I'm just gonna stay here. And you guys go home all by yourselfes."
