"don't worry..."

"We're responsible parents." is what Todd told the neighbor man as we walked to the top of the hill, in front of our house, to do a midnight longboarding run with our son. "It's how we settle him down before bed."
Okay so it might not really settle him down much. And it was kinda late... but it wasn't really midnight either. Not quite. And also in our defense, the streets are deserted and are well lit from street lights and we didn't go fast. Not to mention we did some great parent/child bonding. Any way we can justify it, we will. After all, sometimes you need to break curfew and make some memories with your kids. So criticize if you want but I'll never forget Ro yelling at me "a gonna get you momma" as I headed down the hill ahead of them. Or when he screamed once at the bottom "yeah go really really fast to slurpee house!"
(Don't know where he got that one but I love being able to know what he's thinking.)

He is talking really well. Gary told me when he got his hair cut that Roman said a ton of stuff.

I think that it is awesome you took him boarding down the hill late at night!! Making memories is way better than keeping a strict curfew. Oh hey by the way I really need your number so I can call you with our plans for Wednesday October 7th. (my phone kinda died by way of washing machine) So can you either call me or text me? I lost your number when my phone died. LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

P.s.

Have I told you lately guys How AWESOME you guys are?

Not bad parenting at all. Infact, I'd say it's great parenting. How many parents would go out and do these types of things with their kids now a days (besides watching tv with them)? Good job. You are an inspiration to us all.
